Terms for this site
Last updated October 7, 2026.
The short version
Read, link to and quote this site as much as you like. The software is governed by its own open-source license, not by this page. Our names and logos are ours: use them to talk about us, not to look like us.
Who we are
coffeylabs.org is run by Coffey Labs LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. These terms cover this site and coffeylabs.com and coffeylabs.net, which redirect here. By using the site you agree to them; if you don’t, please don’t use it.
The software has its own license
Every project we publish is released under the license in its repository, listed on the licensing page. That license is the whole agreement between you and us about the code: these terms add no conditions to it and take no rights away from it. Downloading, running, changing or redistributing the software is governed by the license alone, including its own warranty disclaimer.
Nothing is for sale here
There are no accounts, no purchases and no support contracts on this site, and nothing on it is an offer to sell you something. Pages describe what our software does and how we work; they are general information, they change as the projects do, and they are not a promise that any feature will exist or keep existing.
Using what’s on the site
Unless a page says otherwise, the text, images and design of this site are © Coffey Labs LLC. You may read them, link to any page, and quote them with a link back. Writing about us? The descriptions, fact sheet and brand kit on the press page are there to be copied, and you can use them in articles, reviews, talks and directory listings without asking.
Our names and logos
“Coffey Labs”, “inbuxa”, “ihasmail”, “ihasvpn” and “Cairn OBS”, and their logos, identify our work. You may use the names to refer to us and our projects, including saying that something works with or is built on them. Please don’t use them in a way that suggests we made, endorse or support something we didn’t, and don’t use the logos as the name or logo of your own product, fork, service or domain.
The open-source licenses let you fork any of our projects. A fork is welcome; it just needs a name of its own.
Be reasonable with the site
Don’t try to break into, overload or disrupt the site or the servers behind it, and don’t scrape it in a way that degrades it for everyone else. If you find a security problem, please tell security@coffeylabs.org instead of testing it on the live site.
Links to other sites
Most links here leave the site: product sites, docs, source code, the community forum and our social accounts. Those are separate services with their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for sites we don’t run.
No warranty, limited liability
The site is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and up, but we don’t guarantee either. To the extent the law allows, Coffey Labs LLC is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using this site or relying on what it says. Nothing here limits a right that the law where you live doesn’t allow to be limited.
Privacy
What the site collects, and how to refuse it, is in the privacy notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, and any dispute about them goes to the state or federal courts in Maricopa County, Arizona, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it somewhere else.
Changes, and who to ask
If these terms change, this page changes and the date at the top moves. Questions about them, or about using our names and logos, go to legal@coffeylabs.org.
